Description
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide, Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2, formula C38H49N9O5, molecular weight approximately 711.9 Da. It is a selective agonist of the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a) with negligible activity at receptors for ACTH, prolactin or corticotropin-releasing signalling in vitro. Supplied as a lyophilised acetate salt. Used in receptor-selectivity, calcium-flux and pituitary cell-culture research. For laboratory research use only.
