Description

TB-500 is the synthetic N-acetylated heptapeptide Ac-Leu-Lys-Lys-Thr-Glu-Thr-Gln, corresponding to the actin-binding domain (residues 17-23) of thymosin beta-4. Formula C34H60N10O13; molecular weight approximately 889.0 Da. The sequence contains the conserved LKKTETQ actin-sequestering motif and is studied in actin-polymerisation, cell-migration and in vitro angiogenesis assays. Supplied as a lyophilised acetate salt, highly water-soluble. For laboratory research use only.
